There's something to Ferguson's parents' reaction that strikes a chord with us. Somehow this candid moment makes clear how our responses to art are inevitably linked to our individual life experiences.  Looks like art triggers an encounter with our own deep stuff -- that’s worth a good cry...or an irrepressible laugh.
